Conveniently located within easy walking distance of Gallerys,Restaurants & shops at Salamanca Place, the waterfront, Battery Point, CBD, Sandy Bay, the Royal Yacht Club and Wrest Point Casino, & Convention Centre, numerous parks and gardens.
The cottage is fully furnished with a Queen size bed in the main bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom and the third is a study with desk and double sofa bed. .
The sunny kitchen has a microwave fridge freezer and plenty of cooking and serving utensils, and a complimentary selection of herbal teas, coffee & milk.
The garden has all day sun and outdoor furniture allows for alfresco dining or just a quiet spot to sit in the garden and enjoy the roses.
The lounge has a TV / DVD / CD / tape / radio player. There is a collection of books / magazines and for guest use.
The cottage temperature can be simply adjusted with the thermostat on the heat pump.
A cot and high chair (complimentary)are available on request.

Garden Island Sands is located between the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the mouth of The Huon River. There is plenty to do if you care to aimlessly take a drive about the area or simply explore the coastline from home.
There is direct beach access from the property through a narrow strip of reserve.
It is a less well known location to hide away and enjoy the peace and tranquility of a fully self contained home by the water.
In particular, Garden Island Sands has been traditionally a place that has seen only a handful of generations holiday and reside here. It has no through traffic to concern any parents and the beach is very child friendly.

Summertime Cottage Southport The drive from Hobart only takes about 75 minutes, but it can take much more if you like to have a look at the lovely little towns and scenery on the way. Once you get there you will be amazed at how pristine the location and the beach is. The rolling waves do crash a bit at times, but that will only serve to relax you and send you to noddy land. Light the fire, open a good wine, drag over a couple of old easy chairs and kick back. There is a selection of music to wack on the CD player. If thats not your style, try fishing off the beach out the front. A good surf rod will soon have a couple of pretty good sized flathead in the bag. What about snow walking and sight seeing. What about 4 wheel driving. How about reading, playing your guitar, writing poetry or even a novel. If you have kids, you wont see them till they get hungry. You can't get them off the beach. Deep blue water(extremely clean) and a beautiful white sandy beach to lay or walk on. Allow plenty of days to chill out. More... |
